About QRCodeWifi

A small set of free tools with one job: help people share a WiFi network in one scan, without giving away more than they intended.

Why this site exists

Telling guests your WiFi password is a small chore that happens thousands of times a day in cafés, hotels, offices and homes. A QR code removes the chore: one scan, no spelling out a long password, no guest squinting at a scribbled note.

Most tools that offer this either watermark the result, demand an account, or send your network password to a server to render the image. None of that is necessary. A QR code is a small amount of arithmetic, and a browser can do it.

How the tools work

Encoded with the published WiFi QR format, generated in your browser, exported as PNG or SVG. The printable sign maker draws your sign on a canvas rather than asking a server to render it, which is also why no logo you upload ever leaves your device.

What we ask of you

Nothing. No account, no email, no credits and no watermark. Downloads are yours to use commercially, whether that is a table card for a restaurant or a fridge magnet at home.

How this stays free

The site is funded by display advertising. That is the whole business model: no subscriptions, no paywalled features and no selling of usage data. Advertising is kept out of the tools themselves, so the generator, the sign maker and the tester work exactly the same whether an ad is displayed or not.

What we cannot do

We cannot recover a WiFi password, and we cannot look up anything you generated, because none of it is on our side. If you lose a sign, generate a new code in a few seconds.

Corrections and requests

If something on the site is wrong, unclear or missing, we would like to hear about it. The contact page is the right place for corrections, questions and partnership enquiries.
