WiFi QR Code Customizer

Change how your WiFi QR code looks: colours, module shape, a centre icon, transparency and the export size. Your network details stay in the browser, and the same code keeps working after any change.

Tip: for a cafe or shared space, use a guest network so your main password stays private.

Your WiFi details stay in your browser. We don’t upload or store your network password.

Anyone with access to the QR code may be able to read your WiFi credentials. Use a guest network when sharing publicly.

Works with almost every phone and router.

Keep dark on light

A deep navy, forest green or near-black on white scans best. Light modules on a dark background are read far less reliably, so the generator warns you when that happens.

Size the export to the job

1024 px covers screens, chat and A5 printouts. Choose 2048 px for large prints, or keep the SVG when the file has to stay sharp at any size.

Scan it before you print

Any style change is worth one test scan on two different phones. A code that scans on screen can still fail if it is printed small or with thin contrast.

Customizing: frequently asked questions

Usually yes, as long as the pattern stays dark and the background stays light. The generator warns you when the two colours get too close or when the code is inverted, and you can reset to classic black and white at any time.

1024 px is enough for screens, messaging and most printouts at A5. Pick 2048 px for large printed signs, or download the SVG when you want a vector file that never loses sharpness.

They reduce the error tolerance, because the icon covers part of the pattern. Choosing an icon raises the error correction level automatically, but you should still scan the finished code once before printing it.

No. The code is drawn in your browser and nothing is sent to a server. Changing colours, shapes or icons only changes the image generated on your own device.
