Your WiFi details never reach us
The generator, the sign maker and the QR tester all run entirely in your browser. Your network name, your WiFi password and any QR code image you test are processed on your own device.
We do not transmit, store, log, or put your credentials in a database. Your WiFi password is never sent to an analytics service, an advertising network or any third party, and it is never included in a URL. Resetting the generator clears the fields from memory.
No accounts, no email, no tracking of what you generate
There is no sign-up, no login and no email required to use any tool on this site. We do not ask for personal details to generate or download a QR code, and no watermark or account is attached to your download.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser’s local storage for one thing: remembering whether you accepted or declined optional cookies, so we do not ask again on every page. That value stays in your browser and is not sent to us.
If analytics or advertising is enabled on this site, it is optional and only loads after you agree. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. See the cookie policy for details.
Analytics
If measurement is enabled, we record only anonymous product events such as which tool page was opened, which export format was used and which language was selected. These events never include network names, passwords, QR payloads, uploaded images or decoded credentials.
Advertising
This site may display advertising to keep the tools free. Advertising partners may set cookies when ad serving is active and you have consented. Advertising never appears inside a downloaded QR code, never covers the generator, and is never styled to look like a download button.
Uploaded logos and images
A logo you upload in the sign maker is read and resized inside your browser. It is not uploaded to our servers. The same applies to a QR code image you test: the decoding happens on your device.
Third-party links
Some pages link to external resources. Once you follow such a link, the privacy policy of that site applies rather than ours.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of the page will change with it. Questions about privacy can be sent to support@qrcodewifi.com.
We cannot recover your WiFi password for you, and we cannot see anything you generated: that data was never on our side in the first place.
