What we store on your device
QRCodeWifi stores a single value in your browser’s local storage: your cookie choice, either “granted” or “denied”. It exists so we do not show the same notice on every visit. It contains no identifiers and is never sent anywhere.
What we never store
- Your WiFi network name or password, in any form.
- The QR codes you generate, or the images you test.
- Any personal details, because we never ask for any.
Optional analytics
If website statistics are enabled, they only load after you choose to allow them. They record anonymous, aggregated information such as page views and which tool was used. They never receive your network details or any decoded QR content.
Optional advertising
Where advertising is active, advertising partners may set cookies to limit how often an ad is shown and to measure its performance. This also only happens after you consent. Visitors in regions that require an explicit choice are asked before any such cookie is set.
Managing your choice
You can change your decision at any time by clearing this site’s cookies and stored data in your browser settings. The next time you visit, the notice will appear again so you can choose differently.
Blocking all cookies does not affect the generators: the QR code, sign maker and tester work without any of them. Questions can be sent to support@qrcodewifi.com.
